Прозора поверхня, що зависає у просторі, формує динамічне поле фрагментів, світла та відбиттів. Окремі елементи ніби розходяться від певного центру, нагадуючи систему в момент переходу до нового стану.

У теорії динамічних систем точка біфуркації - це критичний момент, у якому навіть незначна зміна параметрів може спричинити якісну зміну поведінки системи. Попередня стабільність втрачається, і перед системою відкривається кілька можливих траєкторій подальшого розвитку.

Інсталяція переносить цю математичну модель у простір людського досвіду.

Її особливість - подвійний візуальний ефект. Прозора поверхня одночасно відображає навколишній простір і пропускає його крізь себе. Реальне та відображене накладаються одне на одне, створюючи нову, нестабільну картину. Залежно від положення глядача, ефекту підсвічення, змінюється співвідношення між цими шарами: те, що з одного ракурсу здається цілісним, з іншого розпадається на окремі фрагменти і знову зєднується в цілісну картину.

Ця оптична невизначеність стає частиною досвіду роботи.

Глядач опиняється у стані, де неможливо одночасно побачити всі можливі версії реальності. Щоб побачити одне, доводиться змінити власну позицію та точку світіння - і побачене змінюється разом із нею.

Так інсталяція говорить про моменти внутрішньої трансформації: коли звична система координат більше не працює, майбутнє ще не визначене, а кілька можливих напрямків існують одночасно. Такий стан може переживатися як нестабільність, розгубленість або втрата контролю - але водночас саме він відкриває простір для нового.

Точка біфуркації - це не просто момент вибору. Це момент, коли сама система стає здатною змінити себе.

Робота досліджує межу між стабільністю та трансформацією, між визначеним і можливим.

A transparent surface suspended in space creates a dynamic field of fragments, light, and reflections. Individual elements appear to diverge from a central point, evoking a system at the moment of transition into a new state.

In the theory of dynamical systems, a bifurcation point is a critical moment at which even a minor change in parameters can lead to a qualitative shift in the behaviour of a system. Its previous stability is disrupted, and multiple possible trajectories of further development emerge.

The installation translates this mathematical model into the realm of human experience.

Its distinctive feature is a dual visual effect. The transparent surface simultaneously reflects the surrounding space and allows it to pass through. The real and the reflected overlap, creating a new, unstable image. Depending on the viewer’s position and the lighting, the relationship between these layers shifts: what appears whole from one angle breaks into separate fragments from another, only to merge again into a coherent image.

This optical uncertainty becomes an essential part of the experience of the work.

The viewer finds themselves in a state where it is impossible to perceive all possible versions of reality simultaneously. In order to see one, they must change their position and point of view — and what they see changes with them.

The installation speaks to moments of inner transformation: when familiar coordinates no longer function, the future remains undefined, and several possible directions coexist simultaneously. Such a state may be experienced as instability, disorientation, or a loss of control — yet it is precisely this uncertainty that opens a space for something new.

A bifurcation point is not simply a moment of choice. It is a moment when the system itself becomes capable of transforming.

The work explores the boundary between stability and transformation, between the determined and the possible.
